The drug Onfi has been successfully prescribed since 2011 to help patients who suffer from Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome or LGS for short. Unfortunately, the drug has also been linked to significant and previously undisclosed side effects that have led to those afflicted seeking legal help to recover for their damages. Their allegations state Lundbeck, the manufacturer of Onfi, was negligent in its research of the drug’s side effects and failed to warn the public of the risks associated with using the drug. Other lawsuits are filed by patients who claim they were prescribed Onfi for unapproved uses, including epilepsy and other seizure treatments. If you took Onfi and later suffered a serious side effect, consult with an experienced personal injury attorney to discuss your legal options.
