Have you taken an SSRI for depression or other conditions? Certain SSRIs' selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors have been linked to a life-threatening condition called serotonin syndrome, and the FDA has issued a number of public advisories on the risks. Serotonin syndrome can occur when SSRIs and certain migraine headache medications called Triptans are used together. Common medications may include Celexa, Lexapro, Paxil, Prozac, Cymbalta, Effexor, Imitrex, Maxalt all and others. If you've experienced side effects from these drugs, such as restlessness, fast heartbeat, changes in blood pressure, nausea and vomiting, changes in reflexes or coordination, or even hallucinations or coma, get medical care right away and talk to a lawyer to determine if you have a legal claim for your injuries.
